Dimensions gives every one of your decisionmakers instant access to business intelligence. This valuable management information is delivered using two different levels of detail:

At summary level your accounts data is presented using a clear and flexible grid up to 6 levels deep This grid can be analysed from any angle and you have complete control over its content: drill-down paths and access privileges are entirely user-definable. There is no easier way to gain an instant understanding of your precise trading position.

At detail level your data is transformed into interactive on-screen reports. These 'Executive Summaries' are delivered and updated automatically. They contain trends, statistics and graphs that can be understood easily by any member of staff, regardless of their accounts experience.

The system is operated using simple 'plain-English' menus, personalised for each user and available from the moment you turn on your computer. This removes the need for any specialised accounting knowledge or reporting skills. Over 250 customisable summaries are included, covering the information needs of your sales, marketing, administration and personnel departments, your finance and management teams... and much more besides. You can even choose to e-mail tailored information directly to your customers and suppliers.

Key Performance Indicators

Executive Desktop provides full KPI functionality. This can be used to actively drive company-wide productivity, through the setting, monitoring and reporting of performance targets. KPIs can be used to help control any activity, regardless of whether or not it has a cost implication, and KPI summaries can be analysed in precisely the same way as financial summaries, as a further aid to the decision-making process.

Executive Desktop is the definitive drill-down and analysis tool - it signals the end of wasted time spent searching for data and will dramatically improve the responsiveness of your entire organisation. Summaries can be sent by e-mail, enabling all your staff (including those working in the field) to be 100% professional and up-to-date when dealing with customers and suppliers.

Executive Desktop Alerts

The system provides you with automated business alerts. These not only warn your staff when significant events occur (such as customers exceeding their credit limits or items going out of stock) but also e-mail all the relevant information, within seconds.

You decide which types of event trigger the alerts and precisely who receives them. These are just some of the 75 in-built criteria you can use:

New order entered (sales or purchase)

If an account is on stop or terms have been exceeded, you need to take immediate action. Use alerts to warn staff that intervention is needed.

Changes to stock levels

Automatically informing your stock or materials manager when levels fall below minimum (or rise above maximum) is the easy way to monitor and optimise your stock holding.

You also have full control over the level of information contained in the alert. At the lower end of the scale, alerts can be simple plain text e-mails; at the upper end, a full Executive Desktop report can be e-mailed to any number of recipients.
